Targeting the full life-cycle of Linked Data applications, it facilitates the integration and processing of Linked Data following a Data-as-a-Service paradigm, and eases UI development based on Semantic Wiki technologies, combined with a large set of predefined widgets for data access, navigation and exploration, visualization, analytics, as well as data mashups with external data sources. Coming with all these features, the Information Workbench can be used to rapidly build industrial-strength Linked Data applications.Property: http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/creatorhttps://w3id.org/scholarlydata/person/peter-haasehttps://w3id.org/scholarlydata/person/michael-schmidthttps://w3id.org/scholarlydata/person/andreas-schwartehttps://w3id.org/scholarlydata/person/christian-huetterProperty: http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/subjectVisualizationSelf-Service PlatformLinked DataProperty: http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/titleThe Information Workbench as a Self-Service Platform for Developing Linked Data ApplicationsProperty: http://purl.org/ontology/bibo/authorListhttps://w3id.org/scholarlydata/inproceedings/www2012/dev/16/authorListProperty: http://xmlns.com/foaf/0.1/makerhttps://w3id.org/scholarlydata/person/christian-huetterhttps://w3id.org/scholarlydata/person/michael-schmidthttps://w3id.org/scholarlydata/person/andreas-schwartehttps://w3id.org/scholarlydata/person/peter-haaseProperty: https://w3id.org/scholarlydata/ontology/conference-ontology.owl#abstractPursuing the goal to lower the entry barrier into the world of Linked Data and to accelerate the Linked Data application development process, we present how the Information Workbench can be used as a self-service platform to develop Linked Data applications.
